Currently, teams must create and maintain this as a custom holiday each year, while many organizations regularly observe it as a standard closure. Including it as a predefined recurring holiday would reduce manual setup, improve consistency with other US holidays, and help prevent after-hours messaging or workflow issues caused by missing custom holiday configurations.
