Users need the ability to unassign themselves from a ConnectWise ticket within Thread without removing the associated schedule entry. Currently, to prevent unwanted deletion of schedule entries caused by integration conflicts, Thread’s permission to remove schedule entries has been disabled. This workaround stops accidental deletions but forces technicians to manually remove themselves in ConnectWise Manage, disrupting workflow and eliminating the option to mark a ticket as done when no time or date is set. A new feature should allow unassignment in Thread while retaining the schedule entry, ensuring accurate scheduling records and smoother technician self-management.
