Partners have a large number of PSA contacts with phone numbers stored in non-E.164 formats (e.g., missing +1 country code, containing dashes or spaces). It is not practical to manually update every contact record. The outbound calling system should automatically normalize phone numbers to E.164 format before placing a call, handling cases such as missing country codes and common formatting characters like dashes and spaces. This would prevent call failures due to invalid phone number formats and significantly reduce manual remediation effort for MSPs with large contact databases.
