I'm thrilled to share that we're currently in the design and development process with Scheduling.
With the upcoming product updates, Inbox users will be able to set firm appointment dates with contacts as well as queue up work in a technician's workday.
This has long been a requested ask; we're excited to move forward with this.
Interested in lending a voice with prototype testing, or open to sharing a quick note about how you use Scheduling in your day-to-day? Feel free to reach out at marc@getthread.com - we'd love to learn from you.

When we've scheduled something with a client, we'd like to know so that we can respond and follow up. We'd also like to know when we've missed a schedule.

Yes, I feel like this should be an expandable banner >card or something that is pinned to the top or bottom of the threaded conversation. Any scheduled event that is already linked to the ticket, for visibility at first, and then eventually the ability to create/edit existing events, and even to send booking requests via Timezests API https://developer.timezest.com/

I would like to be able to schedule resources for appointments and follow-ups with customers through inbox. I would also like those schedules to sync with my ticketing system.
We want to be able to use Inbox exclusively for service desk. Today we have to navigate to the ticket in our PSA to schedule resources.

You could easily do this with TimeZest and snippets if you use TimeZest
