A client of ours has asked if this can be possible in future. It got added to our side in Inbox a while ago, so it would be good to have that for the client as well.

This should be supported in the Messenger app as well. (Or Alt-Enter. Or Ctrl-Enter. Or SOME supported modifier allowing line breaks.) Currently I cannot even paste in text with line breaks, it is just all smushed into a single line.
