In this recent revolution of conversational AI, many organizations are forgetting a key factor of security- their data estate. We as an MSP are very hard-pressed on self-managing as much of the data we handle as possible, both to minimize risk of supply-chain issues, and to be maximally in control of where that data flows.

Currently, Thread does not allow for bringing your own Open AI key.

We would love to be able to add keys for our Azure OpenAI model deployments.

In a perfect world, we should be able to exclude the Magic AI component and price from our account when doing so as well.

This would also allow us to upgrade the model of the AI as new versions are released, which can often deliver significant improvements to performance and accuracy.
